Simply Tuesday

Nothing particularly exciting happened today that I can impart to you all. (sorry) Novel class was interesting (we talked about Modernism and Postmodernism), but I was really tired for some reason and my eyes kept wanting to close... Anyways, I worked more on getting my housing and class registration under control--sending and responding to all sorts of emails and looking at class schedules. When I finally got home, I got to take a nap until I was woken up for dinner. That was nice. And I read Hedda Gabler (CREEPY!) for theatre class. That's basically my day.

P.S. I'm worried that I've had some sort curse put on me because all of a sudden I keep losing or almost losing things... I hope I can break it soon...

  1. Losing things; forgetting things; misplacing things. Gee, Granny and I do that all of the time. But if you must break a curse do the following (an ancient Swedish remedy my Swedish grandma taught me): cross both index fingers in front of you; turn two times to the right (90 degrees and back) and two times to the left; take one step backwards and one step forwards; then look to the heavens and shout, "I want chocolate!" Works every time.

Speaking of Venice (Granny wants to go there and to Florence):
"Venice is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs at one go." Truman Capote

  2. We just got back from the Sedar at Judy's. Everyone misses you, wanted to hear what you are up to (for those not reading your blog), and thinks you are one lucky girl. They also wanted to say, "hi".

  3. Hi Sara. Glen Lisa and Lyn from Chicago's Midway Airport. We just spent Easter with Lisa's Mom and Dad and are heading home today. Hope that Patrick can help you find everything when he gets there in a couple of weeks.

Lyn and Lisa are going to see Taming of the Shrew next week in Glendale. Lyn has been woring hard with the Frolicking Llamas getting ready for the relay for life. Looking forward to seeing you when you get home.
